We had promised the kids to go USS today and Lil Isaac asked to go too despite being sick. Since we usually stroller the kids around in the park, we thought it would be fine. Lil Isaac didn't look that sick too. We reached the park only at 3.30pm. It wasn't the best day to go to USS. It was hot and there was a bigger crowd than usual.
Towards the evening, his fever came back and he grew lethargic even after I gave him fever medicine. We left the park and eventually decided to bring him to the doctor. We were really worried about crowded clinic but was lucky to not meet long queue. The doctor said that the poor boy is down with stomach flu.
We rushed, bathed the kids and then I showered, stuffed a few more stuff into the bag, hug and kiss Daddy Lim and the kids and started running out of the house for a cab. The kids were more engrossed in the iPad then worried about mummy leaving for Switzerland. I was perspiring like a pig by the time I reached the taxi stand and almost wanted to call a cab when I finally got one.
Just when I was feeling great about getting a cab, Daddy Lim and Popo took turns to call me, telling me that Lil Isaac's fever came up. He was measuring 38.8 degrees. -.o" I am so glad that we brought him to the doctor.
May God's protection be on each and individual one of us. This trip is so stressful.
